Diary of a Bad Year

An eminent, ageing writer is invited to contribute to a book entitled 'Strong Opinions'. It is a chance to air some urgent concerns. He offers the job of typing up his manuscript to an alluring young woman he meets in the laundry-room of his apartment block. However, her boyfriend has reservations about her taking the job.
